A remote landscape in the future, barren of greenery and life. Separated by a deep gorge live two protagonists—Svaja and Upė. After an earthquake, a massive boulder falls into the ravine, forming a bridge between their lives.

As they meet it becomes clear that they speak different languages. Despite the obstacles, love begins to grow. Their relationship quietly develops as they create life in a world where there’s little of it.

In their everyday rituals, the characters build a language of their own, blending words with gestures, imperfect technologies, and sounds.
By joining their lives, they strive not only to overcome language, but in their togetherness, discover a little more hope in the world than they had alone.
